YOU ARE NOT ALONE

ACDVC Mission

Anson County Domestic Violence Coalition (ACDVC) is 501(c)(3) organization founded in March, 1998. Since then our overall mission has been to provide a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere for victims and survivors of domestic violence, family violence, and sexual assault where they can disclose and receive the services they so desperately need.

“Abuse grows from attitudes and values, not feelings. The roots are ownership, the trunk is entitlement, and the branches are control” — Lundy Bancroft

What We Do

We provide 24/7 confidential support to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our services include crisis intervention, personalized safety planning, emergency shelter, and access to safe housing options. We offer trauma-informed counseling, support groups for survivors and their children, and legal advocacy including assistance with protective orders and court accompaniment. Beyond immediate safety, we connect survivors to community resources that promote long-term stability, healing, and financial empowerment. We also work to prevent violence through education, outreach, and partnerships that strengthen awareness and build safer communities.

You are not alone. Our services are free, confidential, and available when you’re ready.

You’re not alone.

We’re here to help.
